Pre-requisites
There is no educational or professional prerequisites to sit for the FRM exam
To be certified FRM, you have to pass both levels of FRM and 2 years of full time work experience
Exam Information
FRM Exam Part-1: 100 multiple choice questions focused on the tools used to access financial risk; quantitative analysis, fundamental risk management concepts, financial markets and products and valuation and risk models
Part-1 is always offered in the morning and must be completes in four hours or less.
FRM Exam Part-2: 80 multiple choice questions focused on the market, credit, operational and integrated risk management, investment management as well as current market issues
Part-2 is always offered in the afternoon and must be completes in four hours or less.
Please note that if a candidate elects to take Part-2 on the same day as Part-1, their Part-2 Exam will not be graded unless they first pass Part-1.
